Dollie bunk bed, tough to work on now...
« on: March 18, 2017, 03:31:51 PM »
I began a doll bunk bed last week , buuut

Lily : KA, what is that banging?

Melanie : Yeah, we're trying to sleep here!

KA : It's not done yet, go sleep in my bed.

Lily : YOU go sleep in your bed. Tabitha snores.

KA  : as soon as I get the top done, Tabitha is going to sleep on top.

Lily : Let her sleep on top of you, SHE SNORES!

Melanie : Sawing the wood wasn't Tabitha? I thought she was just getting excited.

KA : girls, two more minutes and I'll be done.

Melanie : Yeah, that sounds about right.

Lily : Ka, just come back in a few hours, OK?

Melanie : Yeah then we'll have time to hide that upper bunk.

KA : Tabby doesn't snore.

Lily : You only say that because you snore louder than she does.

Melanie : Right! This is the non-snoring bedroom.

Lily : Yes, us non-snorers need some good sleep too!

It's like a sorority! I hope they let you join in the pillow fights.  ;D

Humble servant of CJ's Harem .

If I die of vanity, promise me, promise me,
They bury me some place I don't want to be,
You'll dig me up and transport me, unceremoniously,
Away from the swollen city-breeze, garbage bag trees,
Whispers of disease and the acts of enormity
And lower me slowly, sadly and properly
Get Ry Cooder to sing my eulogy,

The things we do for our dolls, but those two bunking together, might be more intense than a pillow fight .....hide the weapons!

HA HA HA!!!  :)      Very cool set up :)
"Leaving it to the imagination" is highly overrated.

Sandy is a B6 F1 Realdoll. In addition she has several F1 expression faces as well as standard F10 and f11 faces. She also has several sets of reuseable "Real Breast" prosthetic breasts.

Incred - Would be great to see this at your house... a 9 level bunk!  You could have a little elevator next to it and each button would have a doll name on it!  :-)

I think the beds would have to be set up like a rotisserie for them to fit

I think I'll stick with the "Wall of Doll". They each have their own spot light and nametag.
Although I do have to make some more spaces

My Rebecca (Realdoll made in 2000) sleeps in a triple bunk bed similar to that. I built it a few years ago. She occupies the middle bunk while the other two levels store extra heads/faces (for some of other dolls), wigs, clothes, shoes, repair kits, and all kinds of doll related stuff.

The bottom bunk is too low to get a doll in and out without risking damaging my back. (It is almost at floor level, unlike the bottom bunk of KA's example.) And anything not right at the front of the top bunk is reachable only by standing on a chair.

Everhard,
I'm going to use the bottom 2 feet (floor level) for dollie-stuff storage except for wings- they go on a shelf on heads, and clothes  they go in the closet or dresser drawers.
