Kim's Place 金
« on: November 26, 2016, 11:06:36 AM »
This is going to be Kim's Place on ODC.

I will post pictures and comments about her as times goes on.

I hope you like her little part of ODC and visit here often.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Please refrain from posting pictures here other than Kim's

I have only known her a few days but have leaned she is very self centered.

I have been doing lots of research on TPE dolls and found something called:

I had been reading about the care of TPE dolls as she is my first.

When I read the part about the monthly oil bath, I started to put it in the CONS section of her review.

After doing her first oil bath, it would go in the PRO section!

First we have to get her undressed:

Those are vintage 60s panties.  They have double material in the seat.
Not very sexy looking but feel amazing! The sexy panties will come soon.

I love this view!

Let's get those pantyhose off shall we .....

First we oil her front side. Back in the 1940s it was said a perfect boob
should fit into a champagne glass.  I just love those perky little breast.

Now we stand her up and do her back side. Be sure to use pure baby oil with no scent added
or she will absorb the scent.  Mix a little of her favorite perfume and she will absorb that scent.
Oh Yea, definitely in the PRO section!

Now we let it soak in then apply power and get her dressed for her first photo shoot.

OH YEAH!!! That is definitely in the + side   :thumb:

I was finding just normal dirt from your hands would stick to the doll and wouldn't come off with dish soap, or even acetone.

Member Begog suggested mineral oil. I didn't have any so I tried suntan oil. It worked the charm, but Korri was a slippery little sucker   I cleaned her up in the tub though to keep the mess in there.

I always wash my hands before I handle her plus use the white gloves that came with her when dressing her.  I plan to buy more of these gloves and change them out when I see smudging on them.  It's a little more effort but she is well worth the trouble I feel.

Member Begog suggested mineral oil. I didn't have any so I tried suntan oil.

I had a bad experience with acetone. Too much of it affected the surface of the TPE.

I had been reading about the care of TPE dolls as she is my first.

When I read the part about the monthly oil bath

All this talk of oil though is new. Didn't know it was recommended. Can't say that I've had problems from its non use. Come to think on it, I've not had problems with dirt sticking to the doll and haven't felt the need to wear gloves. That said, I don't work with my hands and the temperature here is low.

How old is your doll?

TPE dolls are not known to have the life span of silicone.

I think the Idea here is to expand the life of the TPE doll.

Coral thanks for sharing.

Never heard of this mineral oil therapy for keeping TPE material resilient.  Please keep us posted.

For now, I'll probably stick with Sadro's advice (from DollStudio).  This is a copy-paste from one of your provided TDF links:

Hi,

please note that these are community-supported methods which have been solely tested on current Jinshan TPE. Older Jinshan TPE blends might respond differently, and other TPE blends - JY, 6YE, DH168, Maiden etc. - might behave completely different. As far as I know, no manufacturer has ever approved to these methods or even commented on it.

BTW, I have a TPE doll purchased via RealLoveSexDolls, I believe which is a WM-Doll 156cm model.  Had her now for almost a year with zero issues.

TPE research will continue I guess.

Thanks again!

but Korri was a slippery little sucker

Imagination runs wild.....

And to add to this you may remember the tpe doll I had , she was an incredible dust magnet.
Never did solve the problem.

coralsheep91, the photo of Kim covered in oil is ,well, erotic to say the least.
Must have been very enjoyable applying the oil.

Ray:  I have not had any problems with her as of yet but, we are still in honeymoon mode.  Once I gave her the oil bath then pwerered her, nothing is trying to stick to her.  She is silky smooth and soft all over. Doing the oil bath was very enjoyable and was more like forplay to me than mantaince.

This may change after the honeymoon but right now, she is my dream girl.  I have taken more pictures of her than any doll I have ever owned.  I need to get some more of them posted here soon.  I did her first full photo shoot a couple of days ago.  I am going to try and Improve my skills in the area.  I just purchased two indirect lights with stands and will play with those in her next photo shoot.

Crazy Cajun: Not sure what timeline you are referring to.  I searched for scooter, Daria and timeline but did not find anything.

Okay, I found it.  That's what I plan to do in this thread.  Kim's Place will be an ongoing story of her life, bumps in the road, photo shoot, maintenance and every thing going on with Kim be it good or not so good.  It will all play out here at Kim's Place so visit often!

We did her first of many photo shoot to come a couple of days ago so I will be adding some of those today.  Kim even entered her first photo contest already but, she is stuck with my poor photography skills so I will have to work on that.

I am pretty well versed in TPE dolls. What I mentioned was "odorless mineral spirits." Works great for removing stains and makeup. It will also lubricate the doll, perhaps not as well as baby oil, which, BTW, also removes makeup, but not as well as OMS. Makeup has a very short lifespan on TPE, so I have to constantly repair or replace it. You do not have to oil your doll once a month. It won't hurt the doll, but she will leech a lot more. If you keep her in a climate controlled environment, I'd say almost never, maybe once a year. As for acetone, it actually can dissolve TPE, if used in quantity. However, that was not my recommendation. I use acetone for surgery prep, to provide a clean, dry, surface. I'm talking a soaked cotton ball swab. Also, these dolls have fingernails/toenails, and if you wish to paint, remove, or replace them, again the acetone swab. Acetone is one of the few substances that will actually dissolve superglue. Her eyelashes are superglued on. Acetone is not as important for TPE dolls as it is silicone dolls,  but it has it's uses. It is volatile, so be careful. Alcohol works wonders for inserting/removing the insert, and for sanitizing. Always use a microfiber rag or soft disposable when applying anything to TPE. Abrasion is your enemy, and a well-oiled doll is more easily abrased. A dry doll is more subject to cracking or splitting. There needs to be a happy medium. Hope this helps.

Thanks for you input Begog.

I think I am going to stick to the monthly oil bath if for no other reason I enjoy it. 😎

I feel it will extend her life span but only time will tell.

I will report at Kim's place on her progress as time rolls on.
