Is This Rock and Roll Reborn?
« on: November 27, 2017, 10:51:47 AM »
Found an article recently about a new up-and-coming band called Greta Van Fleet.  Then I went to youtube to see what they're all about.

For fans of rock and roll, this just may be very refreshing - here's a taste:

The station I listen to has been playing Highway Song for the last month or so. Heavy Led Zep sound and they are just kids.

After seeing some of the other videos I saw one from 2014. Talk about kids...

I would say no, it has not. "Rock And Roll" is more 60's early 70's stuff (think: "Beatles").

This is "hard rock" or "metal".
Heaven help me, I have been dating a real human female.

A definite Led Zeppelin vibe.

Just told Alexis about this band, so she may check out more of their songs during the day while I'm away.

Ripping off Zep is nothing new.. This band in the late eighties was the most blatant IMHO.

Its really shows how innovative  Zeps music was. Too see  it influence generation after generation decades later , is truly remarkable. They can clone it all they want. I love there music and I'm glad to see there sound lives on! :thumb:
