Doll Doctor ?
« on: December 04, 2017, 10:56:43 PM »
Are there any doll doctors near Punta Gorda? It might be advantageous to have a doll doctor directory on this site.

We have several Doll Doctors on staff at ODC.

Protocol is usually for us to help you do the repair yourself.

If you have a specific problem, perhaps you can document it with pictures and text and I'm sure someone will jump in with diagnosis and repair suggestions.

And of course, there may be someone nearby who can help out.

Thanks. I'd rather pay someone experienced than risk having a nasty surgery scar. I already have a repair video from the manufacturer.

Bowmanc,
You will get some scaring no matter who does it. If you show pics of what needs to be done, we can help you along.

Doll surgery IS scary, no doubt. I 've had a few times when my internal chant was 'don't fuck it up .... don't fuck it up.', but in the end, I took my time and she came out right.  ;)

OK. I will need to rephrase this.

I don't want to fix my doll myself.

I am perfectly capable of working on things, and quite good at it, however I am at an age and station where that does not appeal to me anymore.
I thought there used to be a person that fixed dolls.

bowmanc,

Years ago there was a fellow by the name of Slade Fiero who went by the title "Real Doll Doctor". He had his own website and used to fix and re-sell used RealDolls. He went out of business not long after I first found his website.

Most manufacturers are not willing to do repairs on dolls that they make due to possible health concerns. Knowing what dolls are used for, this is understandable. Your best bet is to find someone close to you who is willing to do doll surgery. Round-trip shipping could run into some serious coin. Wishing you the best of luck!

;) ;) ;)
