First, it has not passed yet
Second, if it does, ask your vendor for seizure protection and their policy.
Third, see number one.

Sadly, some vendors might not even know about this and even if they do, they might hide it from you or be ....plain stupid IMHO!
I chatted with a vendor ( I WILL NOT NAME THEM ) who thought a WM 140a cup would be safe.
Would you?

Their name does not matter because chances are there are more.
If this law passes, I will greatly reduce the dolls I will adopt out as will other vendors.

Again. just some information to pass on that you should at least know to make an educated decision.
Please do not shoot the messenger

PS-And forget the age thing as being gospel because there will be some stupid people working in customs as well as lazy!!!!
My friend Doug at Passion dolls said he had a doll seized over seas and they never looked at the face!

I know exactly what you mean there. Some don't care about height, proportion or face, just bust size. As though every adult woman in the world has large breasts. The face and hips are the big two to look at, but we all know that isn't what customs will glance at, and some won't even care if it's 5'4"+

Argh... My GF is 4'11" and A cup.  It's frustrating to want dolls that are in her bodystyle and have to deal with a freaking potential customs confiscation.

We think we know what customs will judge as "too young".  It may be far more restrictive than that.

Ironic my first doll was a RD B4.

But I think this legislation has an excellent chance of passing.  Two other countries have passed it and no one is going to want to go on record supporting "Child Sex Dolls".

At this point this bill has little support- only a 5% chance of passing. I'm wondering who in the doll community would be willing to stick their neck out to fight this if it did get to the point of possibly passing. I'm not going to sit on the sidelines that's for sure.

There are claims there is scientific data that is used to promote this bills passing. I have done a great deal of research and haven't seen any data that supports the claims. Show me the evidence Donovan!

You have been so great through this entire process of just ordering her. I was overwhelmed at first when I was on my own in a sea of scams and shady deals. I was looking in the wrong places and lost in the amount of good and bad info. Thank you so much for answering every one of my constant emails and always responding like you are a friend. I couldn't have made it to this point without you. I also couldn't be happier with my purchase at this point and the relief of knowing that it's all in your hands now. I trust you. Thanks again Don.

Did anybody even bother to read the text?

Quote
(4) by adding at the end the following:
“In this section, the term ‘child sex doll’ means an anatomically-correct doll, mannequin, or robot, with the features of, or with features that resemble those of, a minor, intended for use in sexual acts.”.

The problem with this language is the use of the word "features", as if the "features" of a minor are universally-agreed-upon.

There is a principle in U.S. law that vague laws are unconstitutional.  The best explanation of the reason why comes from Justice Marshall's opinion in Grayned v. City of Rockford [408 U.S. 104] note 4:

Quote
...if arbitrary and discriminatory enforcement is to be prevented, laws must provide explicit standards for those who apply them. [n4] A vague law impermissibly delegates basic policy matters to policemen, judges, and juries for resolution on an ad hoc and subjective basis, with the attendant dangers of arbitrary and discriminatory application.

Leaving aside the fact that "impermissibly" isn't a real word (Justice Marshall seems to have invented it), the simple plain truth is that LAWS MUST EXPLICITLY SAY WHAT THEY MEAN!

Mr. Donovan's bill clearly doesn't do that.  We can expect that, if it ever becomes law, it will be torpedoed for unconstitutional vagueness by the very first court that tries to make any sense out of it.

To pass Constitutional muster, this language will have to be changed to explicitly specify which "features" of minority are vexing Mr. Donovan.

So, rest easy guys.  Nobody's coming for your dolls [except, presumably, you!] ;D

I suppose you could always use your GF to prove your case, as I assume she has a legal ID to prove her age. Especially if your dolls are made to resemble her in face as well as figure.

Let's just hope they don't confiscate your GF!  :o
Heaven help me, I have been dating a real human female.
.........And enjoying it!

@ PhylTMynd- I did read the text. I highly doubt this will pass not only because it has little support but as you point out the vagueness of the phrasing. What is their working definition of "robot", etc.? The so called correlation of pedophile doll owners and child porn is absurd, these guys had the CP before they bought the doll. Additionally there's no empirical evidence backing that claim, I've done the research.

The thing to keep in mind is that as technology improves so will the phrasing of the bills that our elected official want to pass limiting access to these products.

"I suppose you could always use your GF to prove your case, as I assume she has a legal ID to prove her age."

*sigh*

She is Vietnamese
She is 42
Many legacy member met her in Las Vegas.

This body size is far more realistic than the stupid DD bodies that are made just to prove to members they're "safe".

IMO it's ridiculous and not based in reality as I've just shown through my real world example.

I've been watching this issue myself. I would love to get an A cup gal but this is getting creepy. The last thing any of us wants or needs is to be dragged into a potential witch hunt ourselves and/or with our vendors. Will we end up living in a society where dolls have to get huge breast implants, prior to being shipped to us just so they can be deemed as "Not Obscene?" Nobody would mistake any of my present gals as being under age but all are B and C sized. Some real people can pull off looking way younger than they may actually be as well. And then, some people can pull off looking way older than they may actually be...

Obscenity can be a very subjective thing.

I think the issue would be more along the lines of if a doll has a really small, underdeveloped body... like 140 and under.
There are certainly dolls that are marketed as... let us say... younger than I feel they should be.
I don't think anyone here would argue that childlike sex dolls are not proper.
Please don't anyone argue with me about cultural differences, been down that road before and neither of us will change our minds.

There are certainly taller ladies in the real world that are not as well endowed and some of us like that, myself included.
Bear in mind though that the rest of their body is usually in proportion to being an adult or certainly above the age of consent.

Sadly the world has changed and not for the better. As responsible doll owners, we must not feed into this.
I for one would welcome more mature looking bodies and faces along the lines of what Anatomical Doll was putting out.
Oleg was truly an artist!  :thumb:

This however requires a price tag higher than many of us can afford.

I would say order her if that's what you like. We're safe here in the US. I  sell dolls of all shapes and sizes and haven't had a single issue shipping small breasted dolls here in the states.
