Has anyone heard of epuredoll ?
« on: November 08, 2017, 09:27:33 AM »
Hey Everyone,

Has anyone heard of the company, epuredoll?

Came across some pics on Twitter referring to a doll site, www.epuredoll.com, maker of a line of TPE dolls.  Parent company is Skypure Digital Technology Co., Ltd.

Good website layout.  Also like their up front posting of their Certificate, I guess some testing of their TPE material and a measure of its quality.

Also looking at the doll Magical Qi 168cm (http://epuredoll.com/cpxl/dzczwzxl/56.html).

Have a good one.

It's good to see another manufacturer appear, but a brief look raises a few reasons to question whether this company is going to succeed:
  • The site only gives prices for the 150cm dolls.  Those are $3000, which strikes me as a bit excessive for a TPE doll of any height.
  • They claim to have developed high quality TPE, but its hard to tell whether it is superior to other TPE formulations (such as the one used by the anonymous manufacturer used by Dollhouse 168).
  • There is no information at all about the skeleton.
  • Judging appearance is rather subjective, but the lineup looks like rather average TPE dolls to me.  They don't have the fine detail required to match the appearance of high end silicone dolls.
  • The company indicated in the certificates is:
    Skypure Digital Technology Co., Ltd.
    No. 56, Dong Two Road
    Dongsheng Town, Zhongshan, Guangdong, China

whereas the web site is registered to:
    Nexperian Holding Limited
Le Jia International No.999 Liang Mu Road Yuhang District
    Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China

Furthermore, the Skypure name seems to be already taken, since I find this:
    Skypure Digital Technology Co., Ltd,
1 floor A5, South Vanke, Huangge First South Road,
    Nansha, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China
    http://www.sky-pure.com/

It's hard to know what to make of this.
I'd say that the real test for them is whether they can convince established doll resellers to carry their products.

I don't see any male doll in their range of dolls. Looks like a scam to me anyway
