Hi all, I was wondering if there were English translations of these sites eg Erie or is there a programme that will do it, I only ask for I'm hopeless with the interwebs.

I use Google Chrome for a browser and it offers to translate foreign language websites when I go to them. Not perfect but enough to understand the website.

I'll give that a go, it has to be better than Babel.

It will take another couple of years before automated translations from Japanese will become of any use.
Read here what Babelfish makes of the Dekunoboo Mirai head:
The real face mask “you see, the leprosy”
And read here why:
No wonder BabelFish has problems with Japanese…
Like MrDollylPardon stated, Google translates somewhat better, or is at least somewhat more careful. You don't have to install Chrome; you can access it with another browser too. Here the same page translated by Google:
Riarufeisumasuku "Mirai"
These links were accessed from The Netherlands; I tried my best to make them work from other regions, but of course I'm not sure.

Good idea. Here some hints, all of them from Vocaloid items at YouTube:

World is mine
I Like You, I Love You
Double Lariat

Ich bin von Kopf bis Fuss auf Liebe eingestellt.
