Since I link this thread to gallery requests, I'd like to make a few comments.

As of this post date, this thread is 8 years old... A time when texting on a flip phone was the norm.

At that time, a 10 megapixel camera was really expensive, or unheard of. And tablets and iPhones were in their infancy.

This forum and its gallery, were cutting edge a decade ago. Now we are a relic, and need gentle care to go about our business.

One key thing to know about your gallery is that we only supply each account a maximum of 9,200,000 kilobytes. Use it wisely.

The majority investment in this forum is our gallery. Each photo uploaded is actually stored a 3 separate photos, small, medium, and large.

Someday we hope to be able to upgrade our forum software, chat and the gallery. But that takes time and effort, and that's not easy when it's a bunch of old farts.

I hope this information helps.

Let me simplify...

Pics should be in kilobytes, not megabytes.

We are so used to taking pics of enormous size and quality that our antique system never dreamed of.
