Staining from clothing

Can a TPE doll be stained from dark clothing?? I know white is a good color, but darker colors such as blue or red would look amazing on my doll especially if it was a satin or silk nightie or negligee. I would hate to see her damaged after spending so much for her. I imagine seeing her sitting in my bed when I come home from work.
Any advice would be most helpful.

Yes, a TPE doll can become stained from dark clothing.  It can even happen with a silicone doll, but with TPE it seems easier to happen.   It's rule #1 when buying clothing... ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS wash ANY clothing before you put it on your doll.  Lighter colors "should" be safer but still, wash 'em anyways.

I would also like to add that even if dark clothes are washed they can still stain if left on the doll a long time.
It is usually ok to use dark colors for photos or short times but gets risky if left on for a couple days or longer.
White or very light colors are best for longer times or storage.
 
Also, if you were to get a stain on the doll, the stain can be removed. So don't panic and try a harsh cleaner. Pimple (acne) cream
works really well and won't harm the doll. It is amazing how well it works. There are posts on using the cream for stains.
I never had a stain on my doll or other dolls that this cream didn't get out. The brand name is Oxy 10.
