:)Hello, Does anyone let me know how your dolls are packed when they arrive.  as some suppliers use cartons which is very fragile and easy to be damaged.
The manufacturers web sites generally show how they are packed for shipping. Realdolls are normally shipped in very sturdy wooden crates, while 4woods dolls are shipped in triple-skinned heavyweight cardboard containers (but nowhere near as heavy as wooden crates).

(Should this question be in the 'dolls in general' forum?)

Thank you very much!!! :)

I see you are using one of Gibs' stands.  How do you like it, Everhard?  They seem like a great deal for the price.  Not sure what it would take to ship one Stateside, though.

They are a great deal for the price! Mine is better than most because it has a fixed simple hook that you just plonk the doll onto (with the neck bolt). Later versions have a more fiddly attachment. Even so, these stands are way better than my previous methods.

However, they are fairly heavy. I would think the cost of sending one across the Atlantic would be fairly high.

More details and opinions are here on the UK love doll forum, which also happens to be run by Gibbmodoll:

Ahhh...nothing beats a great pair of B6/7 legs  :)

Sandy is a B6 F1 Realdoll. In addition she has several F1 expression faces as well as standard F10 and f11 faces. She also has several sets of reuseable Real Breast prosthetic breasts.

Got to ask, why sliding down the banisters ?
One of your very favourite poses or is it because that's the way you get your girls downstairs?
Probably a lot better than carrying them......

Those stands are good having seen them, gets the subject standing up straight which can be tough to do.

I like the white shirt 'behind' shot.
I ogle at Cami's beautiful butt when lying on the couch and tell myself "I just gotta take a pic of that one day" but I am just getting lazy these days.

...why sliding down the banisters ?
I like seeing women astride things (horses, bikes, other dolls...) and I realized I had not yet done a photo of Caroline riding the stair banister.

Everhard,

Caroline looks lovely in the green dress and hat. I could swear that she is winking at me! Wishful thinking?

You caught one of those rare sunny moments of the winter/spring, adventurous crossing those legs.
Is Caroline off to a wedding , looks like one of those sort of hats . :)

Mainly the result of her right eyelashes being thicker than the left. Also, the right upper eyelash is angled down slightly. Tiny differences like seem to have big effects. (One day I will get round to replacing all her eyelashes properly.)

I think women usually buy hats like that for weddings. Then they sell them on Ebay or give them to charity shops, which is how my dolls have accumulated a large selection of hats!
