Sadako's Time Travel Adventure
« on: July 05, 2019, 10:54:12 PM »
Thank you to Ray and Camp for helping me get an album started for the gals! I have been having way too much fun lately with FaceApp and the other night was delighted to see I could get into way more "trouble" with being able to go on-line for backgrounds. I think Rari was happy I found something that cheered me so much but got a bit miffed that I couldn't put my phone down as easily! With this in mind, I realized that my age long ambition of Time Travel was, indeed, possible! I know Rari wanted to be the one to get to do that first but she's having to rest up before we do some minor surgery. Akiko was a bit leery but Sadako seemed more than willing to go along. She had a BLAST! We both did but for some reason, our time travel seemed to shift from the 1980s to current day and thus, Sadako managed to get herself in a rather big jam...

Oh yes - I did the speech bubbles using an app called "Captions." I've been using it for awhile and it's a great one for stuff like this.

Hope these links work...

Cool Stuff.  :thumb:
By the way, if you have the pics in a TDF gallery, they will still work here. They just have to exist online.

     Your gallery is at
The picture links in your album "Hollywu's Photo Funnies!" are:

The "thumb_" in the filename is for the thumbnail size images in your album index. You will see this size image:

If you change the "thumb_" to "normal_", you will get this size image:

If you delete the "thumb_" or "normal_" entirely, as below, you will see the full size image.

The forum software automatically reduces large images to 650 pixels on the longest side, as set by the moderators. This is so that any image can be seen without scrolling (on a screen capable of displaying an image of that size).

Many people who are new to the Coppermine Photo Gallery (CPG) software make the mistake of posting links like

That will only link to your intended picture until the next time someone uploads a picture to the gallery. Mostly that link is best for displaying new uploads in the "Last additions - User galleries" section of the gallery index page.

Another common mistake is the posting of a link like this:

Unless you always upload pictures with filenames with a numerical sequence (i.e. "_MG_0521.JPG") instead of a text string like "Exploring_Atlantis.jpg", the relative positions will change as you add more pictures to your albums.

Learning any new system can be frustrating at first. CPG takes a little getting used to, but soon posting pictures will be second nature. See here for more information: Placing Pictures in a Post
